Yes, I’m a twilighter…and a mom.

I’m 28, a mother of 3 and the last time I picked up a book (to read) was in highschool. So my stepmom comes to me last October and tells me about the book ‘Twilight’ that she had been reading and she was hooked! I had been going through a very stressfull time so I was like, well, maybe reading would help me destress.

I went and bought the book, and yes, I was hooked. It only took me a few hours to read it. I rushed immediately to get the next one. Let’s just say that I read all 4 books during the whole weekend. If you haven’t read the ‘Twilight’ Saga then it’s hard to explain just how they make you feel. It’s not like this whole made up mythical vampire junk with coffins and fangs. It seems like it could actually be real. And the love that Edward and Bella have for eachother just gives you goosebumps. When I finished the 4th book, I was depressed. I wanted more. It was hard to be in my own world that weekend and then have to come back to reality. I had forgotten how wonderful it was to read!

So I started over. I read all 4 books again. Then I saw the movie, it was great!! Of course it didn’t exactly go by the book and that was a little dissapointing. But it was awesome and I’ve seen it 5 times. LOL!! My eleven year old is just becoming a Twilighter too. She has went and seen the movie with me twice and now she is starting to read the book. Although, it is taking her a little longer.

So to anyone who needs a getaway….pick up a book. It’s amazing how it can put you in your own little fantasy world. And I highly recommend Twilight. Of course, I’m a love story freak anyway.
